Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By making a booking with DGD Transfer, you agree to the terms outlined below. It is your responsibility to review and understand these terms before completing your reservation.

Consumer Protection

In accordance with Law 2251/1994 on Consumer Protection, upon successful payment, DGD Transfer will email you a booking confirmation and a unique booking number. This must be presented on the day of the transfer or tour. You will also receive your driver’s contact information and vehicle license plate number in advance. Vehicles are clearly marked for easy identification.

Passenger details must be accurately provided at the time of booking. Any changes must be submitted by email prior to the scheduled service.

Tour Types and Durations

We offer private tours such as:

  • Athens Highlights (e.g. Acropolis, Museum, Parliament) – approx. 5–8 hours

  • Cape Sounio and Lake Vouliagmeni – approx. 5 hours

  • Delphi, Meteora, Epidaurus, Olympia, Mycenae, Nafplion – 6 to 12 hours

  • Wine tours (depending on destination)

  • Athens by night – approx. 3 hours

All tours include:

  • Pickup and drop-off

  • Private transportation in a luxurious vehicle

  • English-speaking driver (not a licensed tour guide)

  • Onboard WiFi and bottled water

If a licensed tour guide is requested, this is available at an extra cost.

Private Transfers

Private transfers are available from and to:

  • Athens International Airport

  • Port of Piraeus

  • Athens City Center

Important Information

  • All services provided are private.

  • Meals are not included, but time is provided for dining.

  • Entrance tickets to archaeological sites or attractions are not included but can be arranged.

  • Tours are self-guided by default. Guides can be added on request.

  • Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

  • Itineraries may be adjusted according to operating hours or external conditions.

  • The company reserves the right to modify or cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. traffic, strikes, weather).

Drivers

Our professional drivers comply with legal driving hours and may modify routes for convenience or safety.
Drivers do not provide guided tours or accompany guests into sites.

Disclaimer

DGD Transfer is responsible solely for providing private transportation services as described. We are not liable for:

  • Loss, damage, or injury during the tour

  • Natural disasters, accidents, government restrictions, or delays outside our control

  • Improper travel documents

  • Luggage or personal belongings, which remain the passenger’s responsibility

Insurance

We recommend all clients carry personal travel insurance.

Children, Wheelchairs & Luggage

  • Infant and child seats are available upon request (additional cost applies).

  • Clients must specify the number and age of children during booking.

  • Foldable wheelchairs are accepted; prior notice is required.

  • One standard piece of luggage per person is allowed. Drivers assist with loading/unloading but do not offer porter services.

Disruptive Behavior

DGD Transfer reserves the right to terminate a service if a passenger displays disrespectful or disruptive behavior. No refunds will be given in such cases.

Payment & Pricing

  • Prices may vary depending on tour duration and optional services.

  • Shorter durations do not reduce the fee.

  • Invoices or receipts are issued electronically after the service.

Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations:

  • Full refund for cancellations 72 hours or more before the scheduled service.

  • No refund for cancellations less than 72 hours in advance.

  • No-shows are charged at full price.

For large vehicle bookings:

  • Free cancellation up to 10 days before the service

  • 60% charge if canceled within 10 days

  • 100% charge if canceled within 3 days

Company Cancellations:

DGD Transfer may cancel a service up to 24 hours in advance in case of strikes, weather conditions, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or a voucher for future use. No additional compensation will be provided.
